A collaborative interdisciplinary research project that involved designers, information scientists and culture managers. Great thanks to Hannah Schwan, Charlene Faustin and Sophie Warmbrunn.

The subject of our research and visualization were the »Book People Portraits« of the »Deutsches Buch- und Schriftmuseum« in Leipzig. We developed an exploratory digital representation for the »Book People Portraits« based on collection specific aspects. Our goal was to develop an interface design which answers the following questions: How can we provide overview within unevaluated content? How can we create an explorative playful access to win potential visitor’s interest in the collection? What insights into the collection can be provided by creating access through a participatory tool?
